Textile Trunk Show at Khazana with Rupa Trivedi and Thilak Reddy

Meet visiting artists from India and see their newest work! Join us for a Trunk Show featuring new textiles and clothing by artisan designers Rupa Trivedi of Adiv Pure Nature and Thilak Reddy of Kalam Shastra. Rupa Trivedi (Adiv Pure Nature) creates ethereal garments and home textiles made from natural dyes and flowers blessed by temples and shrines in her native Mumbai. Based in the small temple town of Tirupathi in Andhra Pradesh, India, Thilak Reddy (Kalam Shastra) uses his training in the ancient art of kalamkari (hand-painting natural dyes onto cloth using a bamboo pen or kalam) to create innovative contemporary garments.
